CropX, Reinke Introduce Actual ET Sensors For Precision Irrigation

News in brief:- CropX and Reinke has introduced a tool that provides measurements for precise irrigation, offering farmers detailed insights into water usage and soil water availability, supporting sustainable farming practices. CropX Technologies and Reinke have joined forces to launch Reinke Direct ET™ by CropX, a groundbreaking sensor-based solution providing Actual Evapotranspiration (ETa) measurements. This innovative product, exclusively available through on Reinke's center pivot irrigation systems, offers farmers invaluable daily insights into their crop's water requirements. By accurately measuring water usage, Reinke Direct ET equips farmers with the knowledge needed to make informed irrigation decisions, ultimately optimising water usage and crop yield.

Supporting sustainable farming practices

CropX further expands accessibility with the release of its Actual ET sensor, adaptable for installation in any field. When integrated with a CropX soil sensor within the CropX agronomic farm management system, farmers gain access to precise water-plant usage and soil water availability data, regardless of pivot or non-pivot irrigation systems. Tomer Tzach, CEO of CropX, emphasises the significance of precision agriculture in modern farming. He highlights the collaboration with Reinke Irrigation as a pivotal step in delivering solutions that aid farmers in optimizing water usage. The introduction of the new Actual ET devices ensures both pivot and non-pivot growers have access to essential water management details. The ET measurement technology underlying these innovations stems from Tule Technologies, which CropX acquired in January 2023. This acquisition underscores CropX's commitment to advancing agricultural technology and supporting farmers with cutting-edge solutions.
