The Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), the Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture and the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria have declared their support for the forthcoming 11th edition of Nigeria Agrofood’s International Trade Show and Conference. The fair, organised by Fairtrade Messe in collaboration with Modion Communications, is scheduled to be held in Lagos.

“As Nigeria continues to pursue sustainable economic transformation, platforms such as Agrofood Nigeria provide invaluable opportunities for dialogue, innovation, investment and collaboration across the entire value chain,” Obadimu stated.

LCCI Calls for Stronger Local and Global Collaboration

Director General of LCCI, Chinyere Almona, has stressed the importance of both domestic and international partnerships to enhance value addition and production efficiency within Nigeria’s agro sector.

“This fair gives a platform to engage other global players and showcase the Nigerian capacity of what we are doing here locally,” Almona said.

She noted that improving the quality and competitiveness of Nigeria’s agro products requires structured collaboration between producers, processors and technology providers.

Meanwhile, the Director General of MAN, Segun Ajayi Kadir, expressed the association’s commitment to supporting the 11th edition of the trade fair. He was represented at the event by MAN’s Media Relations Officer, Salami Musa.

According to Kadir, the exhibition will provide a direct interface between Nigerian manufacturers and international technology producers, strengthening industrial capacity and modernisation.

Organisers Position Fair as Regional Business Hub

Exhibition Manager of Fairtrade, Freyja Detjen, described Agrofood Nigeria as West Africa’s leading annual business platform for the agrofood industry.

The 11th edition is expected to convene stakeholders across the agro-processing, manufacturing and technology value chains, reinforcing Nigeria’s position as a regional hub for agro-industrial investment and collaboration.
